Four experienced students have been in the TCAP Dogs certification process for 4 months.
Karine Larouche from Un bain de folie in St-Philippe, Doris Allard from eSPAce Animal in Albanel, Sabrina Vallée-Manseau from Services Canin Sabou in Boucherville and Elaine Gagnon from LeWoof.ca in Candiac are in the process of completing the rigorous certification in behavioral grooming from L'Art au Poil: TCAP Dogs.
The 4 go through the following pathway leading to TCAP Dogs certification:
TCAP theoretical training of 3 days (Behavioural Grooming Art au Poil)
TCAP practical training lasting 6 days allowing the direct application of the notions learned during the theoretical training
Performance of a TCAP behavioral grooming filmed and reviewed by the school
Group review of each other's practice cases and constructive criticism
Theoretical and practical exams
Biannual attendance at TCAP update conferences
