Yes! We are back from England after training monkeys and parrots with international masters Chirag Patel and Tim Sullivan, 2 generous coaches and teachers who shared their knowledge and experience.
We also witnessed the elaborate plan to train a cougar to lie down by presenting its hip near the fence for a future injection given by the vet.
We have been fortunate to work with various coaches from England, Scotland, Germany, Norway and Austria.
We had several scenarios, developed action plans, worked as a team, made decisions, analyzed behaviors, worked with animal motivation, analyzed our assumptions, applied ABA, etc.
We met some exceptional people with classic British accents that were very pleasant to the ear.
Kisses to all those with whom we had the chance to share this beautiful week of training without force or restraint (force-free)!
All this with an ethic focused on animal welfare in an environment where enrichment is a priority.
We have refined our approach, raised our awareness as animal professionals and updated our knowledge to improve the training we provide internationally.
